English: Copper alloy

Buckle Pin. Cast pin, with stepped shank immediately adjacent to its looped end, of internal diameter 5.5mm, which was presumably wrapped around the bar of a substantial harness buckle. Suggested date: Medieval to Post-Medieval, 1250-1600.

Length: 40.2mm, Width (at loop): 11.1mm, Thickness: 4.1mm, Weight: 3.41gms.
