English: Copper alloy
Buckle frame. Fragment of cast buckle frame, slightly plano-convex profile - flat-backed - with relict of moulded decoration on central part of loop. Broken in antiquity, abraded and patinated overall. Larger than the usual buckles of this style. Suggested date: Medieval, 1200-1400.
Length: 21.09mm, Height: 33.56mm, Thickness: 4.92mm, Weight: 6.62gms.
