Copper alloy
Buckle frame. Cast double looped or spectacle buckle with ornate floral moulding and projecting pointed knops arising from rosettes at both ends, and pointed knops at the ends of pin bar and rising from frame. Decorative detail appears in low relief on the display face only; the reverse is flat. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1550-1650.
Length: 50.1mm, Width: 32.7mm, Thickness: 2.7mm, Weight: 9.98gms.
