English:

Cast copper alloy double loop buckle dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is oval in plan and D-shaped in cross-section. On each loop are bilobed knops. At either end of the strap bar is a lobed knop. The strap bar is narrowed. The object has a light green patina. The pin is missing. A similar example is no.381, p63 Whitehead, (2003). It can be dated to c.1550-1650AD.
