Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Casa Capșa calendars for 1899, printed and distributed late 1898. Published by Socec & Co. The advertisement on the left-hand page of the open calendar is in French, but everything on the right (names of months and what appear to be names of saints for their saint's days) is in Romanian.
Casa Capșa, a chocolatier, patisserie, and (at most times) café and hotel, has been a fixture at the corner of Calea Victoriei and what is now Strada Edgar Quinet in Bucharest since 1852. Bucharest Municipal Museum, Suțu Palace, Bucharest, Romania.
