Description
Nederlands: Eén schilderij van het veelluik de Ursulalegende , een altaarstuk uitgevoerd in olieverf op paneel, dat 155,5 x 120 cm meet en dateert uit omstreeks 1482. Het is van de hand van de Meester van de (Brugse) legende van de heilige Ursula, een noodnaam van een Vlaams kunstschilder die in Brugge actief was aan het eind van de 15e eeuw. Hij leefde vermoedelijk van 1436 - 1504 en was als kunstenaar actief tussen ongeveer 1475 en 1502.
English: One painting of the polyptych depicting scenes from the life of Saint Ursula painted for the convent of the Black Sisters of Bruges by the Master of the Legend of St. Ursula.
