English: "Brownshirt" uniform for a member in the Nazi Party (NSDAP) or its Sturmabteilung (SA, Nazi paramilitary group):
  • Kepi (Schaftmütze) with Nazi Party Eagle emblem (Parteiadler)
  • Brown (tan), mid-length blouse with two pleated patch pockets on the chest
  • Brown neck tie with SA emblem necktie pin
  • A Nazi swastika armband / brassard (Hakenkreuzarmbinde, Kampfbinde) on the left upper sleeve
  • Brown riding breeches
  • SA buckle (SA emblem on a brass two-piece box-style belt buckle)
  • Brown canvas bread bag (Brotbeutel, haversack commonly used by most Third Reich-era military and paramilitary organizations)
  • Knee-high laced boots (without laces) made of brown leather
  • Bugle
  • This Sturmabteilung uniform is an early, simple variant for enlisted men, without shoulder strap on right shoulder and rank and group insignia on collar tabs.

This image shows (or resembles) a symbol that was used by the National Socialist (NSDAP/Nazi) government of Germany or an organization closely associated to it, or another party which has been banned by the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany.

The use of insignia of organizations that have been banned in Germany (like the Nazi swastika or the arrow cross) may also be illegal in Austria, Brazil, the Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Israel, Poland, Russia, Ukraine and other countries, depending on context. In Germany, the applicable law is paragraph 86a of the criminal code (StGB), in Poland – Art. 256 of the criminal code (Dz.U. 1997 nr 88 poz. 553).
