Summary
[edit]DescriptionBrown honeyeater 7th Brigade Park Chermside P1040433.jpg |
English: What the Brown honeyeater (Lichmera indistincta), lacks in plumage it compensates for in song, being sometimes referred to as the 'bush canary'. It appears in 7th Brigade Park, Chermside, whenever nectar bearing flowers are in abundance. The bird's sweet, clear song adds to the pleasure of being in the park. Despite its diminutive size the Brown honeyeater is not one for being bullied by larger birds, and will hold its own in competing for nectar. |
