Description

Parker Brooks, a conservator and graduate student from Texas A&M University, demonstrates the function of an elevator screw prior to a free lecture at the Savannah History Museum, June 2. The elevator screw was used to raise and lower cannon. Brooks mentioned that the 150-year-old artifact was still in relatively good working order.
