[edit]DescriptionBrookgreen Gardens 5 (3281520846).jpg |
Brookgreen Gardens, near Georgetown South Carolina, is one of my favorite southern gardens. Founded about seventy-five years ago on the site of a former coastal plantation by the american sculptor Anna Hyatt Huntington, it combines an extensive variety of formal, informal, and aquatic gardens with a huge collection of great sculpture. Spring is approaching and it's time for me to return there with my digital equipment. These photos were from a few years ago, taken with my old Canon A-1. |
