||
Description |
English: An incomplete barbed and tanged arrowhead, dating from the Beaker Period to the Middle Bronze Age (c.2400-c.1000 BC). The arrowhead is made of flint that is transluscent brown. The arrowhead is broadly triangular with a lozenge-shaped cross-section. The arrowhead is a tertiary flake. Both dorsal and ventral faces show retouch (invasive, sub-parallel, low angle). Similar retouch is seen between the barbs and the tang. The tip and one of the barbs are missing. Overall, it measures 27.9mm long, 22.5mm wide and 5.9mm thick. It weighs 2.73g. |
