Title
Bronze Age - Axehead
Description
English: A cast copper alloy Bronze Age axe fragment. With slightly flared blade tips, the body expands such that this fragment is probably be from a socketed axe, rather than the gentler expanding/narrower blade section on that of a flat axe or palstave. Therefore we may place this axe fragment as probable late Bronze Age (1200-750BC)

The surface is heavily corroded with a now rough dark brown patina. There are no signs of wear/use.
