| Description | Soft brome is perhaps the most abundant grass on Wild Horse Island, and certainly the most common annual grass on the island. Soft brome dominating the vegetation at the upper elevations of Wild Horse Island. Mixed in with this stand of soft brome are fruiting heads of Fritillaria pudica, red brown spikes of Poa secunda, and fruiting stalks of Zigadenus venenosus. |
