Description
Svenska: Porträtt av Riksrådinnan grevinnan Brita Christina Wrede Sparre (1741-1766). Pastell, 64 x 50 cm. Högklassig originalram i rokoko. Avporträtterad av Gustaf Lundberg 1695‑1786.

Med påskrift a tergo: ”Rixrådinnan Sparre född Grefvinnan Wrede samt gift med Rixkanslern grefve Fredrik Sparre.”

Grevinnan Brita Wrede Sparre (1741-1766) var Carl Gustaf Tessins (1695-1770) systerdotter, som gifte sig med Greve Fredrik Sparre (1731-1803), Ulla Sparre Tessins (1711-1768) brorson.

Registrerad i Svenskt porträttarkiv nr. 1922:690. Se Index över svenska porträtt 1500‑1850, band II.

Proveniens: Greve Carl Gustaf Tessins (1695‑1770) samling, Åkerö slott, Bettna socken, Södermanland.
