Churchward' (built 8/48, withdrawn 2/63) has worked the train down from Paddington and after the train and engine have been turned is ready to continue north on the ex-Midland line and up the Lickey Bank to Bournville - see SO9669 : A stranger to these parts, a GW 'Castle' on a Rail Tour prepares to tackle the Lickey Bank at Bromsgrove. Note the enthusiastic enthuiasts: it was indeed a memorable trip. |
