A man walks along the side of a deteriorating log cabin, with a sagging foundation and a mossy roof.

Brinegar Cabin - Doughton Park. The Brinegar Cabin was built around 1888 by Martin Brinegar. Between 1941 and 1942, the cabin and associated buildings were restored for interpretive purposed by the Works Progress Administration. The chimney was repaired later, in 1975.
