Description
Deutsch: Schild einer Anwaltskanzlei in Bozen mit angeblich sage und schreibe zehn (10!) promovierten Doktoren der Rechtswissenschaft. Illustriert wird der in Südtirol übliche Usus, den italienischen Titel "dottore", den ausnahmslos jeder Akademiker zu tragen berechtigt ist, ins Deutsche mit "Doktor" oder "Dr." zu übersetzen, obwohl dieser Titel im deutschen Sprachraum allein für promovierte Akademiker reserviert ist. Dies geschieht unter Ausnutzung mangelnder rechtlicher Bestimmungen in Italien, in Österreich oder Deutschland hingegen werden derartige Titelanmaßungen mit empfindlichen Geldstrafen oder gar Freiheitsstrafen geahndet. Ein nicht promovierter "Doktor" wird in Südtirol scherzhaft "Brennerdoktor" genannt.
