Kommentar: Johann (Hans) von Küstrin war der zweite Sohn Kurfürst Joachims I. und erhielt 1535 nach dem Tode des Vaters die Neumark nebst den Ländern Sternberg, Krossen und Cottbus. Mit seinem söhnelosen Tod fielen diese Gebiete wieder an die Kurlinie. Im Gegensatz zu seinem hochverschuldeten Bruder Joachim II. führte er seine Regierung mit wirtschaftlicher Effizienz. Seine Münzprägung beschränkt sich auf den Zeitraum 1543-1546, Taler sind 1543 und 1545 geschlagen worden.
