Title
Bracelet
Description
English: Recorded at the Hidden Treasure Finds Day at National Museums & Galleries of Wales. Copper alloy bracelet fragment, probably dating from the Late Roman to Early Medieval period. The bracelet consists of one terminal and slightly less than half the original length. The bracelet is flat and thin with parallel sides and a rounded terminal without a hook or perforation. The incised and punched decoration is crude and irregularly applied. The terminal is decorated with two lines across it’s width with punched- marks at right angles to the lines. Above the terminal is a diagonal cross, both arms of which have punched marks across them. Above the cross the bracelet is plain except for an irregular and off-centre column of transverse punched marks.
