Description
English: Herring smokehouse, around 1895, Noordwijk, Nederland. The place where the herring was stringed on a stick (speet). Very old and rare, original photograph.
Nederlands: Haringrokerij te Noordwijk, Nederland. ca. 1895 De speetdam waar de haring aan stokken (speten) werd geregen waarna de haring werd gerookt, wat stankoverlast veroorzaakte. Oude zeldzame, originele foto.
