Bowness, Windermere. Bowness is the principal town situated on Lake Windermere. The town is picturesque and composed of one long street with a number of smaller streets running into it. The centre of the town is St. Martin's Church, and at the water's edge is "The Old England Hotel " which is seen on the left of the picture.
