English: Bournemouth: an unusual cenotaph gathering Situated in the Central Gardens, 637199 is not just the centrepiece of the Remembrance Sunday commemorations; it is also the muster point for the Town Hall in the event of the fire alarms sounding. Here we see staff and visitors surrounding the memorial, as we await news that we can return to the building (or go off to lunch!).
It is unfortunate that this view is looking directly into the sun but, being in the midst of an evacuation, I did not feel I could pick and choose my vantage point. |
