Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Boundary stone, Rastrick and Fixby. This stone, dated 1777, is set into a modern brick wall on the north side of the A6107. It was originally erected following the resolution of a boundary dispute to do with the maintenance of the highway. It is not the same as the modern boundary between Brighouse (Calderdale) and Huddersfield (Kirklees). There was a similar stone a little to the east between Fixby and Bradley, but this has disappeared.
