Description
English: Bound album of the Livre De Vases (Book of Vases) by François Boucher, the title plate from the book's second edition, the eleven plates in red from the book's first edition. Plates 2-12 are all on quarter sheets and show in the upper margin two pin holes. Plate 1, the title plate, is remargined, and the series is placed by the collector in a half blue linen binding with marbled boards. At front cover, Léon Decloux bookplate with cartouche, the number inscribed in pen and red ink.
