Deutsch: Altes Poststadion am Lievelingsweg in Bonn (Nordstadt), Blick nach Norden. 1920 kaufte der Bonner Turnverein 1860 (BTV) das Gelände am Lievelingsweg. 1922 fusionierten die Fußballabteilung des BTV (dem sich 1919 der FC Normannia Bonn angeschlossen hatte) und der Club für Rasenspiele (1904 als FC Borussia Bonn gegründet) zu Tura Bonn. 1926 wurde das Stadion gebaut und am 14. August 1927 eröffnet. Es erhielt den Namen Schmidt-Schneiders-Stadion (benannt nach den Vorsitzenden des BTV Ferdinand August Schmidt und Heinrich Schneiders). Nachdem es 1938 den Besitzer gewechselt hatte (von Tura Bonn zum Post-SV Bonn 1926), wurde es in Poststadion umbenannt. Glanzvolle Ereignisse im Poststadion waren die Steherrennen sowie die Fußballspiele von Tura gegen Schalke 04 (mit Szepan und Kuzorra) und den 1. FC Kaiserslautern (mit Fritz und Ottmar Walter). 1965 schlossen sich Tura Bonn und der FV Bonn zum Bonner SC zusammen. 2003 verkaufte der Post-SV das Stadion an einen privaten Investor. 2004 war das Stadion noch so weit intakt, dass in ihm Sequenzen des Films Lattenknaller - Männer wie wir gedreht werden konnten. Die Stadt Bonn hat gegen den Verfall des Stadionkomplexes (zu dem auch der Aschenplatz hinter der Nordkurve gehörte) wenig unternommen. Das 41. Kapitel des Romans Mombasa oder die Welt (Jesinghaus, universal frame, Zofingen 2010, ISBN 978-3-90-596012-9) schildert die Atmosphäre des alten Stadions. |
