Summary
[edit]DescriptionBomb crater in Daff Glen - geograph.org.uk - 572746.jpg |
English: Bomb crater in Daff Glen. There are two craters here at the top of the glen. Until recently, a hand painted sign stated "Bomb Crater 8/6/42". The fallen branch to the left shows the line of the crater wall.
Presumably the bombs were intended for the nearby Anti Aircraft Operations Room 299141. |
