310 "Prosperity Tomato" The Wonder Among New Early Tomatoes That Has Attracted So Much Attention Prices: Pkt. 10c. y2 Oz. 40c. Oz. 70c. 2 Ozs. $1.15. V4 Lb. $2.10. Vz Lb. $3.90. Lb. $7.50. Postpaid We didn't want to name this New Early Red Tomato "PROSPERITY," but we couldn't help'it; no other name could tell so quickly and so thor- oughly how good it was. "PROSPERITY" means Success, Good Fortune, Entire and Complete Satisfaction; finding a Tomato possessing all these qualifications and advantages, we instinctively thought of "PROSPERITY." Description: One of the earliest of all Tomatoes, a brilliant red, an enormous yielder, grown and developed from single plant selections cover- ing a period of eleven years, filled full of strong, sturdy, healthy new blood. After having been tried by the Leading Market Gardeners and Largest Shippers all over the United States and Canada for the last seven years, it is today thought more of than ever before. (Le What a Satisfied Customer for Years Says About Bolgiano's "Prosperity" Tomato. On October 27,1918, W. E. Kirchhoff Co., of Genesee Co., N. Y., wrote: "Since we have been a satisfied customer of yours for many years, we feel it our duty to let you know what your seeds are doing for us. If you will search your records, you will find that we have bought Bolgiano's Prosperity' Tomato seed ever since you have placed it on the market, during this number of years we certainly have had all kinds of weather conditions, but 'Prosperity' never failed. Aside from our own growing, we supply the public with plants, though we do not go out w '⢠a wagon like other growers do. people come 5 to 6 miles to buy our plan : â /.', in spile of our efforts to keep pace with the demand, we run short every season. While it is our constant aim to grow only the best, we try out every novelty that comes up, hence we can say that Bolgiano's 'Prosperity' is the best all-around Tomato. Thanking you for courteous dealings in the past, we beg to remain." Bolgiano's "Prosperity" Alt That is Claimed for It On October 31, 1918, W. H. Martin, of Henrico Co., Va., wrote: "I wish to say that the Bolgiano's 'Prosperity' Tomato seed that I bought from you prooved to be all that you claim them to be. They were not given the attention needed on account of sickness and shortage of labor, but I expect to plant them again.' Best Crop of Tomatoes I Have Ever Seen in My Life On October, 23, 1918, Peal Martin, of Hanover Co., Va., wrote: "Bol- giano's Prosperity' Tomato seed produced the best crop of Tomatoes that I have ever seen in my life. Please don't forget to send me some more of this fine seed next year." Best Tomato I Have Ever Tried On October 28, 1918, C. M. Clapper, of Washington Co., Md., wrote: "In regard to Bolgiano's 'Prosperity' Tomato seed that I purchased from you, I wish to say thai considering the unfavorable weather conditions through the mid-summer season and lack of close attention, the vines produced a bumper crop of fine, smooth Tomatoes. It is the best Tomato that I have yet tried." "Prosperity" the Only Tomato to Grow in This Section On November 4, 1918, A. F. Aehersold, of Floyd Co., Ind., wrote: "In regard to Bolgiano's 'Prosperity' Tomato seed I wish to say that they produced a fine crop of nice size Tomatoes. I think they are the only Toma- toes to grow in this section. I am going to plant them again next season." In Florida "Prosperity is a Fine Tomato" On June 15th, Mr. Lee Wells, of Gadsden Co., Fla., wrote: "Weather conditions have been unfavorable for plant growth until recentlyâ»ery dry and cold. However, your 'Prosperity' Tomatoes made a satisfactory growth and are now full of fruit, ripening with not a single specimen of plant wilt or fruit rot. The 'Prosperity' is a fine Tomato; each fruit grows to a good size and ripens evenly and thoroughlyâthat is, with no hard spots or green-un- riped sections, as some varieties do." The Wonder of Morgan County, Georgia On February 7th, Mr. J. B Atkinson, of Morgan Co., Ga., wrote: "The 'Prosperity' Tomato that I ordered from you last year proved to be the wonder of this place. Out of a small plot I produced a surprising large quantity of the best Tomatoes that I have ever seen. There was no other variety anywhere near them. The other seed ordered from you proved to be very fine and every- thing that you claimed for them." 3E= 3E 3E 3E EJE orJ
