Description
English:

Handwritten on verso: 1122 Hayes St. Dear "Aunt Carol", don't you think "my" library is quite imposing? It's a mighty nice place to work too but about this time I'm thining of the beautiful Washington campus - swarming with students again - and half wishing I could live last year over. Love Lelia

This postcard shows Boise's original Carnegie Public Library, which opened its doors at 815 W. Washington on June 22, 1905. The institution moved to another location in 1973. The building now houses attorneys offices.
