Paris / Nogent-sur-Marne, dans ce coin du parc de Vincennes se sont aussi tenues deux expositions coloniales. Cette part d'histoire peu glorieuse est - en 2012 - laissée à l'abandon... Il s'agit ici du pavillon de la Réunion : 1900 : construit pour l'Exposition universelle au Trocadéro, il est transféré sur le site de Nogent la même année 1907 : il est utilisé comme poste de secours de l'Exposition coloniale qui a lieu à Nogent-sur-Marne 1914-1918 : le pavillon sert de lieu de stockage pour les collections d'objets et d'artisanat |
