| Description |
English: Boggy feathermoss forest at the west edge of West Loch Tarbert The land portion of this grid square west of West Loch Tarbert is entirely densely wooded and of quite rough terrain. After hiking in on a forest trail, it is necessary to go off trail to reach the grid square. This scene is the biggest clearing I could find to photograph. The bog bottom pervades the entire forest and is covered with a large variety of feathermoss species. |
