Description
English: Illustration issue de l'"Encyclopédie pratique de l'agriculteur", publiée sous la direction de Louis Moll et Eugène Gayot, Paris, Librairie de Firmin Didot frères, 1859, tome 2, p. 738.

Lors d'une traction, le boeuf attelé baisse la tête et par cette attitude il accroît le poids, la masse des parties antérieures de son corps. Il ne se convertit pas en levier ni ne fait porter le centre de gravité sur le bipède postérieur.
Ouvrage appartenant à la Bibliothèque historique du ministère de l'Agriculture, déposée à la MRSH Caen.
