Description Highly modified F4B-4 for air show performance. This was originally, after it came out of the Navy in 1938, NC-14 of the CAA Air Safety Board. At the time of this photo at Oakland in August 1947 it was being flown by Jess Bristow. In this photo it is Yellow with Red trim.
