Description based on Thackray, David (2004) Bodiam Castle, The National Trust, ISBN 978-1-84359-090-3, page 32. The difference between the 2004 plan and this is that the 2004 one had three rooms in place of numbers 1 and 13. The three rooms that occupy the position of 1 and 13 are labelled "ante room", "hall", and "chamber".
