English: Wayside cross Köster-Verlemann at Old Bockraden Street (Alte Bockradener Straße) in Ibbenbüren-Bockraden, Kreis Steinfurt, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Since 1984 this sandstone cross is a listed cultural heritage monument.
Deutsch: Wegekreuz Köster-Verlemann an der Alten Bockradener Straße in Ibbenbüren-Bockraden, Kreis Steinfurt, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland. Dieses gut 4 Meter hohe Wegekreuz besteht bis auf den Korpus und hintere Stützen aus Sandstein. Es wurde 1867 von den Landwirten Köster und Verlemann als Hofkreuz zum Dank dafür errichtet, dass ihre Höfe von einem Hagelschlag verschont blieben. Die Sockelinschrift an der Vorderseite lautet: Wenn wir mit Christus sterben, werden wir mit Ihm leben,
wenn wir mit Ihm dulden, werden wir mit Ihm auch herrschen. II. Tim. II. 11,12. An der linken Stirnseite des Sockels ist eingemeißelt: Wir bethen nicht an Holz und Stein sondern den wahren Gott allein. Das Objekt der Volksfrömmigkeit steht seit 1984 komplett unter Denkmalschutz.
