Bob Shortt is a singer-songwriter who was born in Dublin, Ireland. He began his musical career at the age of eleven, playing the mandolin and then the tenor banjo. His first solo album "A Long Way From Home" was released in 1999 with 14 original songs. His live performance blends original music with traditional Irish, Scottish, Maritime, and Old Country tunes played with guitar, banjo, and mandolin.
