Description
English: Energy diagram of the increase of the band gap in the transition from bulk semiconductor to semiconductor nanoparticles. ВЗ - valence band ЗЗ - forbidden zone, ЗП - conduction band, the ВЗМО - upper filled molecular orbitals, НСМО - lower unoccupied molecular orbitals. б - The absorption spectra of CdS nanoparticles in the UV and visible wavelength range. Blue shift of the absorption edge is observed with a decrease in the size of the colloidal nanoparticles.
Русский: Энергетическая диаграмма увеличения ширины запрещённой зоны при переходе от массивного полупроводника к полупроводниковым наночастицам. ВЗ — валентная зона, ЗЗ — запрещённая зона, ЗП — зона проводимости, ВЗМО — верхние заполненные молекулярные орбитали, НСМО — нижние свободные молекулярные орбитали. e - электроны; h - дырки.

б — Спектры поглощения наночастиц CdS в ультрафиолетовом и видимом диапазоне длин волн.

Голубой сдвиг края полосы поглощения наблюдается при уменьшении размера коллоидных наночастиц.
