English: Crews pull a German Blohm & Voss BV 138 C-1 seaplane from the water at at Kirkenes, Norway, during World War II. In the left background is a Heinkel He 115 float plane from Küstenfliegergruppe 406 coded K6 + EH.
Deutsch: Flugbootbesatzung und Bodenpersonal ziehen ein deutsches Flugboot vom Typ Blohm & Voss BV 138 C-1 während des Zweiten Weltkriegs in Kirkenes, Norwegen, aus dem Wasser. Links im Hintergrund ist ein Heinkel He 115 Schwimmerflugzeug mit dem Verbandskennzeichen K6 + EH der Küstenfliegergruppe 406 zu erkennen.
  • Motoren der BV 138 B und C: 3x Junkers-Zweitakt-Dieselmotoren Jumo 205 D mit je 648 kW (880 PS) Startleistung. Der Mittelmotor erhielt in der C-Variante (wegen aufgetretener Schäden) einen Vierblatt-Propeller! Die beiden Außenmotoren waren weiterhin mit Dreiblatt-Propellern, jedoch mit breiteren Blättern ausgestattet.
