Description
English: Christine Cabalo, photojournalist, Hawaii Marine, donates a pint or unit of blood to the Armed Services Blood Program today. Donations are broken into three parts: plasma, red blood cells and platelets. Need for blood varies, but blood donation is down due to the holiday season, said Michelle Lele, Tripler Army Medical Center donor coordinator, Armed Services Blood Program.
