English: Blaen Dyfnant Unlike nearly all land encountered when exploring the plateau between Elan and Claerwen, this area was hideously boggy. I am familiar with the exaggeration of the difficulties of walking in Wales, but for a few minutes here, I thought about going elsewhere. The dark foreground is a trail made by horses and sheep, and is marginally easier than the surrounding moorland. You will still get wet feet, and a companion to help pull you out, or whose head could be used as a stepping stone is recommended. |
