| Description |
English: Preserved Blackpool Corporation Engineer's Car No. 7 (reg. FV 9044). Originally a Burlingham bodied Leyland Tiger TS7, it was delivered in 1937 to the corporation as one of twelve 'sun saloon' single-deck buses. It was converted into an engineer's car in 1957, to be used variously as a snow plough, tow truck and tram track salter/sander, before being withdrawn in 1964, and passing into preservation with a private owner. It is pictured here at the 2008 Alton bus rally at Anstey Park, Hampshire. |
