Summary
[edit]DescriptionBlack Country Living Museum - main village street - geograph.org.uk - 836007.jpg |
English: Canal Street, Black Country Living Museum, Dudley, West Midlands. This is the main street of the reconstructed village at the museum. All the buildings have been obtained from various parts of the Black Country and reconstructed here. The village is designed to represent a period around 1919. It is approached by a canal bridge of which the railings on both sides can be seen here. The post box on the left is a Penfold-type Victorian pillar box. The public house at the bottom of the street is licenced. |
