Description
English: Cake is a form of food, typically a sweet baked dessert. Cakes normally contain a combination of flour, sugar, eggs, and butter or oil.

This tasty image was created by my sweet friend epSos.de and can be used for free, if you link epSos.de as the original author of the image.

Although clear examples of the difference between cake and bread are easy to find, the precise classification has always been elusive. Early cakes in England were also essentially bread.

A Chiffon cake with strawberries is a very light cake made with vegetable oil, eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder, and flavorings. The high oil and egg content creates a very moist cake, and as oil is liquid even at cooler temperatures, chiffon cakes do not tend to harden or dry out as traditional butter cakes might.

The garden strawberry is a hybrid species that is cultivated worldwide. The fruit is widely appreciated for its characteristic aroma, bright red color, juicy texture, and sweetness.
