(258) The Audubon Societies 259 leaflets whose pages are filled with accuratedescriptions of birds; we supply teachersand schools applying for them with chartson which are correct representations,beautifully colored, of many familiarbirds; and we endeavor to keep in touchwith the children seeking to obtain thishelp by getting them to become pledgemembers, by which they promise orpledge themselves not to molest or harmbirds, or their nests or eggs. We supplysheriffs and game wardens with clothwarnings, or with leaflets of the game-law, and in neat card form the laws havebeen condensed for posting in hotels,stations and post-oflices.
