Ink, pencil, charcoal on rice paper, 20¾ x 16¾ in. 2011. Ezequiel Jimenez is a New York based artist, who currently lives in New York. He holds an MFA in Fine Art, a BA in Art and Political Science both from The City University of New York at Lehman College; and an AAS in Digital Arts & Graphic Design from Bronx Community College. His work consists of large-scale paintings and works on paper. Integral to the imagery is a dialog about curved lines, organic forms and mechanical imagery often resolving in monochromatic explosions of conflict. Compositions are completed on hard plywood, eucaboard, canvas, paper, or other media. Before Jimenez receiving his MFA, his works has been presented in over 25 exhibitions, both nationally and internationally including Hall of Fame Art Gallery, Bronx Community College; Alexey von Schlepped Gallery of Art, University of Connecticut; Attleboro Arts Museum in Massachusetts; Warwick Museum and Tse Tse Gallery in Rhode Island; Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center, and Rio II Gallery in New York City; Rutgers University at Center for Latino Arts and Culture, Paterson Museum and Perth Amboy Gallery Center in New Jersey; Galería Universal in Santiago de Cuba; Centro de Convenciones in Cancun; Centro de la Cultura de Santiago in DR, and others.Español: Ezequiel Jimenez. Tinta, lápiz y carboncillo sobre papel de arroz, 20¾ x 16¾". 2011. Ezequiel Jiménez es un artista visual radicado en New York. Actualmente su obra se compone de pinturas de gran formato donde integras imágenes creando un diálogo entres líneas curvas, formas orgánicas y mecánicas visualizando el conflicto en explosiones. El espacio y el equilibrio son reglas. Jiménez posé un Master of Fine Arts, y licenciatura en Arte y Ciencias Políticas de la City University of New York en Lehman College; y un asociado en Artes Digitales & Diseño Gráfico de la City University of New York en Bronx Community College.
