A large proportion of any credit claimed may justly be given to the StateFederation of Womens Clubs which, in the absence of a State Audubon Society,has for two years fostered this movement. Early and full recognition should be given to the stimulating effect ofassistance from the National Association of Audubon Societies which suppliedthe services of a field worker for three months and made possible the enroll-ment of 14,696 Junior Audubon members.
