Description
English: Bibingka is a native Filipino food especially during Christmas season that is usually associated to Simbang Gabi. Bibingka is usually being sold by vendors within the vicinity of churches where Simbang Gabi or the nine day masses are being held. Bibingka is a type of rice cake that is usually made of galapong/rice dough, coconut milk, margarine, sugar, salted egg and cheese. It is traditionally cooked on Charcoal stove with banana leaves.
