Summary
[edit]DescriptionBhangarh Fort 2.jpg |
English: View from the Royal Palace in Bhangarh Fort over the palace's entrance building and parts of the fort area. - Bhangarh rather disappoints on the ghost front, but otherwise the birds and the apes and the ruins were mesmerizing in their state and/ or intricacy, no legends coming to life but lovely architecture, inspiring temples and streaks of red and tantrick pujas, with follying monkeys and rather courteous sunbirds, manik trying to un-pose at his best, but the fellow drove hard despite all the fog...
The temples of Gopinath and Someshwar are a nice study, and the fort structure is multi-fortified in three, a watch tower on the top looked tempting but despite all the picnics happening, you wouldn't want to be here after dark, the apes more a danger than the supposed visitations (Princess Ratnvati's temple has some djinn parties as the priest tried to pacify a bunch of 'aaj tak' empowered citizens), the wind was a wintery hazy cloaking the horizon, and the shrubs spoke of decay, one that makes the mind and the cameras go clinical, and legends hysterical...
