Description
English: Two Māori in Tolaga Bay. Shows an adult male at the right and a young woman at the left, standing by the sea. The man has two feathers in his topknot, a short skirt, and a cloak over his shoulders and back. He is carrying a long plain spear in his right hand, and wear a tooth necklace and a gourd or handclub on a string around his neck. The young girl on the left wears a shawl, leaving her breasts exposed, and bracelet. The man has his right hand around her shoulders. Hand coloured lithograph, 345 x 252 mm.
