English: A male crown-tail betta splendens displaying before two corydoras catfish (I can't remember the species, but they are each different). He is about to charge. The water is brown from tannins released from bogwood. Pictured also is a "bottom feeder" wafer.
No catfish were harmed in the making of this picture. The betta gets bored sometimes, he does not seriously or continuously attack, although it is only one (of four) corys that he ever displays to (the largest). The cory never seems to mind. |
