Description
English: Animated GIF- picture, showing the emission of an electron and a neutrino, while changing the element from radium to actinium. During beta-decay the atomic number increases (from 88 to 89) and the nuclear number remains unchanged (228). Infinit automaticly repeating demonstration.
Deutsch: Animierte GIF-Graphik. Zeigt die Emission eines Elektrons und eines Neutrinos bei der Umwandlung von Radium zu Actinium. Bei einem Beta-Zerfall erhöht sich die Kernladungszahl und damit die Ordnungszahl um 1 (von 88 auf 89). Die Nukleonenzahl und damit das Atomgewicht bleibt unverändert (288).
